Located in the heart of Houston, TX, our practice is built on a foundation of personalized service, advanced dental technology, and a deep commitment to helping every patient feel at ease. Led by Dr. Eric Perkins and Dr. Scott Driver, we’ve proudly served the community for over 40 years with a full range of dental services designed to support lifelong oral health and beautiful smiles. Dr. Eric Perkins
A native of Lake Charles Louisiana, Dr. Perkins completed his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University in 1984. He then attended LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, finishing his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1988. While at LSU School of Dentistry, Dr. Perkins researched cosmetic dentistry, earning the prestigious Student Research Award during his junior year.
Dr. Perkins holds memberships in a number of professional organizations, including:

- International Congress of Oral Implantologists
- Academy of Student Research Clinicians
- Academy of Facial Aesthetics
Dr. Scott Driver
Dr. Driver has been with Acadian Family Dental‘s Houston dental offices since 2011. Born and raised in rural Kansas, he is now proud to call himself a Texan. Dr. Driver earned his bachelor’s degree from Baker University in Kansas and received his DDS from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He enjoys traveling, sports, and playing outside with his dogs.
Shari, Office Manager
Shari and Dr. Perkins are life-long friends. They started the Houston practice in 1993. Her psychology degrees have helped in “softening the blow” when explaining insurance policies and changes. Shari enjoys traveling, golf and gardening.
Robyn, Front Office Administrator
Robyn will be the first smiling face you see when visiting our office. Since 2013 she has managed the front office. Robyn graduated from the University of Houston in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She and her husband enjoy traveling and working out.
Lynda, Registered Dental Hygienist
Upon graduating from the University of Texas Dental School-Hygiene in 2000, she has worked solely for Acadian Family Dental. She enjoys cooking, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
Rhiannon, Head Dental Assistant
Rhiannon completed her training in 2005 and has worked at Acadian Family Dental since 2006. She and her husband enjoy riding motorcycles, cheering the Philadelphia Eagles, and spending time with their children and dog “Philly”.
Amber, Registered Dental Assistant
Amber is our newest team member joining the office in 2015. She has been working as a certified dental assistant since 2010. She and her husband enjoy riding motorcycles and spending time with their five children.
